How often did you use Google app on your Samsung Galaxy S8 Active? Is it often enough? How do you feel if the app keeps closed down and the “Unfortunately Google App Has Stopped” message keep showing up?
There is a problem with the app and that is for sure. You need to get it fix right away or that message will keep popping every time you launch the app. The question is how do you plan to fix this issue?
There are a couple of things to try to fix this issue, so why don’t you give it a try:
Clear app cache
Bad and corrupted cache is not a good thing to have because it blocks the app to work normally. Clear those bad caches to fix this issue. Go to “Settings > Apps > Google App ? Storage > Clear Cache”. This action will clear the app cache only and hopefully solve this issue.
Restart the phone

Factory reset
Last to try is factory reset. When nothing else works, perform factory reset. Remember that factory reset will erase everything so always backup all files and data stored on the phone before doing this.
