How to Boot Into Safe Mode on LG X Venture

LG X Venture

Boot the LG X Venture into Safe Mode and go into temporary factory setting where no 3rd party app was installed and check for the phone functionality to ensure everything working accordingly.

Safe Mode in LG X Venture is an operational mode where the whole set of the phone was set back to factory setting for temporarily. The main idea of Safe Mode is to check for any problem caused by 3rd party app. In Safe Mode, none of those additional applications will be temporarily disabled.

If the phone has some issue with its performance in standard operational mode and none of those issues show up in this mode, then it is obvious that one or maybe more than one of those additional apps is causing the problem.

To boot LG X Venture into Safe Mode, please follow the guidelines below:

  1. Go to Home Screen.
  2. Press and hold Power button long enough until “Power menu” appear. Do it just like when you want to Power Off the phone.
  3. Tap and hold the “Power Off” option on the menu.
  4. A dialog box will appear that ask you whether you want to enter “Safe Mode” or not. Confirm this action by tap “OK” and let the device boot into Safe Mode.
  5. Look for “Safe Mode” text written on the bottom left of the screen as the sign that you had successfully boot into Safe Mode.

People will find that they can’t find the 3rd party app that was installed in LG X Venture once it has reboot to Safe Mode, either the app name didn’t show up in app tray or the app name was grayed out.

There is nothing different in Safe Mode compare to a standard operational mode other than the fact that it has no 3rd party app. While the phone is in Safe Mode, check for the entire phone functionality and feature.

Does everything work as it should be? Is there anything wrong with the phone performance? Does the same issue that shows up in standard operational mode also show up in this mode? Complete a thorough check of the phone function to decide whether a 3rd party app is causing the whole issue with the phone or not.
